Aliens analysis

This still from Aliens has some good effects, such as the lighting behind the Alien which creates a terrifying silhouette while the actors in the foreground also give an idea of scale. This scene would probably feature a slow, quiet buildup and the soundtrack would reach its peak when the Alien is revealed. Any sound effects would be echoed to give the impression of a large lair.
